Description
The Kidney Pre-Transplant Program Assistant supports the overall functioning of the Pre-Kidney Transplant Program.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
1. Serving as primary contact and patient liaison for all complex customer service and administrative issues
2. Maintaining working relationships with hospital staff to address patient needs
3. Performing complex patient scheduling to accommodate each patient's unique needs according to organ-specific requirements (see organ-specific Referral, Evaluation, and Selection policy)
4. Triaging phone calls
5. Participating in training others; implementing and sharing best practices
6. Documenting patient interactions in electronic health record
7. Participating in the following: Regulatory Compliance, Process improvement initiatives, Departmental meetings
The Transplant Program Assistant reports to the Transplant Administrative Supervisor or designee.

Education Requirements:
● High School diploma or GED
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
● No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
● Five (5) years of clerical experience of increasing variety and/or complexity.
● If Bachelor's degree, one (1) year of clerical experience of increasing variety and/or complexity
● If Associate's degree, three (3) years of clerical experience of increasing variety and/or complexity.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
