UNC Rex Palliative Care Department is seeking a full time Palliative Care physician to join their team. The mission of the UNC Palliative Care Program is to promote palliative care clinical services, research and education to improve care and outcomes for personal with serious illness and patients and their families.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
• Board Certified • Monday – Friday • Inpatient Consult Service • Team consists of a physician, nurse practitioners, counselor and RN – Five member team – adding 2nd physician • Work w/ Medical Students • Exercises independent professional judgement in the care & treatment of patients • Adheres to the principles of medical ethics
