UNC REX Healthcare is seeking a full-time physiatrist to provide comprehensive spine and musculoskeletal diagnosis and care. The Physiatrist can diagnosis and treat pain as a result of injury, illness, or condition. This physician will be expected to provide excellent interventional spine care to adults and work collaboratively with physical therapists, neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists and other neuroscience providers to develop care plans for patients with an emphasis on bio-mechanical spine rehabilitation and integrative therapeutics. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy and functional spine mechanics to accurately diagnose and facilitate the non-interventional recovery of patients with cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine disorders as well as general musculoskeletal joint dysfunction.
