UNC Rex Pulmonary Specialist is seeking a full time pulmonary and sleep medicine physician to join their team. The group consists of five physicians and four APP’s with four locations serving Wake County. We see to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients with a wide variety of pulmonary and sleep disorders. The practice operates multiple PFT labs and outpatient clinics, and provides inpatient pulmonary consultative coverage at UNC Rex Hospital, a tertiary care center. Standard fiber optic bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound and navigational bronchoscopy services are offered. The practice is highly respected in the community and enjoys an extensive referral network within primary and specialty practices in the UNC health system and beyond. The group works closely with oncology, thoracic surgery and cardiology service lines within the healthcare system.
The Rex Sleep Disorders Center comprises of 5 accredited sleep labs offering a wide range of adult and pediatric diagnostic overnight studies, daytime studies and home sleep testing. Care of complex ventilator disorders and hypoglossal nerve stimulation therapy are offered. The providers pride themselves on an excellent work ethic and group cohesion with highly cordial interpersonal relationships.
Responsibilities and Qualifications • BC/BE in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine • Monday – Friday clinic schedule • Potential for dedicated time for interpretation of sleep studies • Inpatient Coverage 1 in 6 weeks with weekend rounding/call
