Oncology Purchasing - NC Cancer Hospital
Scheduled Work Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm (M-F Days)
The Oncology Purchasing Administrative Specialist will serve as the purchase agent for all Oncology Operations. The Specialist is responsible for identifying suppliers, researching goods and services, processing purchase orders and verifying delivered items. They will participate in projects and provide operational support when needed. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
1. Check in and register patients according to the established protocols
2. Researching and comparing suppliers, goods, and services.
3. Monitoring inventory levels and determining purchase needs.
4. Requesting cost proposals and negotiating contracts and prices.
5. Maintaining records of all transactions, purchase orders, receipts, and payments.
6. Scheduling and verifying purchase deliveries.
7. Building and maintaining positive, long-term supplier relations.
