Responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of a Project Manager or Director. This position spends >50% of time worked on managing projects. Works with project team members to gather and evaluate business
Project Coordinator (Education):
·The GME office supports an employee supporting 15 residents and the Resident Director aka Resident Coordinator.
·Spends >50% of time managing Educational Projects.
·Supports 4 Fellows, the medical student rotation (national and DEI Goal of expanding to international), as well as all educational projects.
·Prepares and edits presentations for our Annual Educational Symposium, and weekly Grand Rounds.
·Coordinate meetings, including travel arrangements for multiple visiting Professors both for Grand Rounds and the Annual Educational Symposium (300+ attendees).
·Collaborates with HR for recruitment and personnel changes for Fellows and Residents.
·Monitors and modifies project schedules for all Educational Elements; e.g., Med Student rotation specifically regarding exposure to research and specialties with each faculty member.
● Associate's degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
● No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
● If an Associate's degree, three (3) years of experience in an administrative support role and/or projects-related role. If a high school diploma/GED, seven (7) years of experience in an administrative support role and/or projects-related role.
