This position works as a member of a team responsible for the integration of new hospital entities in the statewide network affiliating with UNC Health and the ongoing relationships with and delivery of services to those network hospitals. This includes facilitating information sharing and engagement with system leadership. 

Description of Job Responsibilities: 

1. System Affiliations- Supports the development and facilitation of new and existing hospital affiliations within the statewide network including: assisting with communication between statewide entities and the system; planning and organizing system meetings; liaising with system leaders and network entities to deliver value added corporate services that meet the needs of statewide affiliates; facilitating the execution of agreements between UNC Health, network entities, and other internal and external partners; supporting mergers, acquisitions, and other affiliations activities and related due diligence; andrepresenting UNC Health to the public, other providers of care, and policy makers one-on-one and at local, regional, and statewide meetings. 

2. Leading Change-Acts as a catalyst for organizational change. Influences others to translate vision into action. Brings about strategic change, both within and outside the organization, to meet organizational goals. Establishes an organizational vision and implements it in a continuously changing environment. Is open to change and new information and rapidly adapts to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles. Qualifications

Education Requirements: 

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline. Master's degree preferred.

Professional Experience Requirements: 

Five years of experience of relevant experience including, but not limited to, management of an operational unit, business analysis, or financial analysis
