The business intelligence analyst position works on various value-add projects to continuously improve the Managed Pharmacy Solutions (MPS) operational areas. This individual is responsible for a full range of financial, operational and strategic initiatives, which ensures the operational effectiveness and excellence of the MPS portfolio. The MPS business intelligence analyst (analyst) will track and analyze trends to make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact workflow and efficiencies. They will serve as the operational and technical expert for MPS.

This is a telecommuting position with occasional onsite work from our Morrisville, NC office.

Job Responsibilities:

Communication and Relationships

The analyst acts as a liaison between MPS core teams. He or she ensures a tight linkage between MPS efforts, department and organizational goals. The analyst gathers input and synthesizes information across multiples sources.

Operations Management

Supports onboarding and orientation program for MPS new hire employees.

Supports office administration and employee inquiries working closely with IT to resolve issues or equipment requests.

Enters equipment requests and tracks team equipment and access.

Cost and Contract Management

Enters data and reconciles invoices and/or purchase order information to ensure accurate and timely payment.

Acts as a liaison between vendors and other external partners to resolve invoicing and payment inquiries.

Tracks high level budget expenses and costs.

Works closely with colleagues to facilitate negotiations, manage document control and revisions and oversee signature process.

Tracks contract flow, renewals, termination dates and key contract milestones and performance guarantees, as well as provide updates to stakeholders as required.

Business and Metric Development

The analyst develops effective key performance indicators and management dashboards that provide enhanced insight and improve department decision-making.

Create appropriate metrics/KPI's, reporting tools and dashboards that give insight into business performance and drive effective decision-making across all areas of Managed Pharmacy Solutions.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders like IT, Finance, Sales, Accounts Payable and other vendors to enable unified data aggregation.

Evaluate business processes to anticipate and define requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and develop and recommend solutions.

Work with various users at all levels IT Teammates, Business Managers, Executives and end users to plan and offer automated solutions, process reengineering and manage expectations and progress.

 Manage technical/operational problems and follow through on resolution.

Presentation/Document Management

Creates simple, effective presentations (interactive-multimedia-PowerPoint presentations with design elements, charts, graphs, timelines & diagrams) from complex pharmacy information.

Takes content from multiple sources and combines into one document.

Assists with editing content from multiple sources.

Maintains proper organization of production and creative files.

Project Management

The analyst provides effective project management to clearly defines projects, develop project plans, and set priorities for working teams. Participate, lead or conduct project status meetings with key project stakeholders and Team members.

Manage project and team expectations. Work independently and ask for help when needed. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferences:

- At least 2 years’ experience in project management

- At least 2 years’ experience in computers, including in-depth internet knowledge and working proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet and database applications

- At least 1 years of presentation experience

- Experience in working with, analyzing, and interpreting data, especially advanced Excel skills including reporting and dashboards

- Limited proficiency of optimizing reusable data sources for visualization and analytics

- Stakeholder requirements gathering and presentation skills preferred

- Fulfillment expectations of MySupport reporting & analytics single intake requests

- Lead stakeholder groups and analytics teams

● Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
● No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
● If Bachelor's degree in general field, requires three (3) years of experience
● If Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field (i.e. Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Analytics, etc.), requires one (1) year of experience
● If Master's degree, requires one (1) year of experience
● If Associate's degree, requires nine (9) years of experience
● If High School degree, requires eleven (11) years of experience
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

-SQL and Data Viz software fundamentals (basic proficiency), leading to limited proficiency within 6 months

- Stakeholder requirements gathering and presentation skills preferred
