Job Posting Description:
This Manager position will be focused on a managing a wide variety of clinical applications used across UNC Health facilities.
-Candidate must have experience leading implementation and support of a variety of clinical systems in a healthcare system setting.
-Ideal candidate will have prior management experience leading, planning, organizing and execution of a wide variety of clinical applications in a production setting across multi-facility health care organizations.

Strategic Planning - Aligns system-level objectives with organizational strategic plans. Develops tactical roadmap at both a project and program level to meet assigned strategic plans, deadlines, and financial goals.
Budgeting and contract management - Develops and manages Operating and Capital budget for Clinical Applications within ISD. Monitors financial performance and adjusts resources to optimize expenditure while maintaining exceptional quality and service. Reviews contracts and provides guidance on technical aspects of contracts and manages them through established contract management process.
Project Management - Proven success leading implementation of enterprise systems in Clinical IT space is required. Oversees project budgets once established and implements projects in accordance with established project plan and budget.
Technical Support and Administration – 24/7 oversight of IT operations to meet customer requirements including support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions in accordance with Health System ISD standards.
Vendor Management - strong fiduciary skills in managing vendor products and relationships. Works to develop productive partnerships.
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
● No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
● If a Bachelor's degree: Three (3) years of relevant experience.
● If an Associate's degree: Seven (7) years of relevant experience.
● If a High School diploma or GED: Eleven (11) years of relevant experience.
