Onslow Surgical Clinic, a well-established practice located in coastal North Carolina, seeks a General Surgeon to join our team of four surgeons. Our surgeons are talented, board certified experts in their fields. Active members of the community, they are dedicated to staying abreast of the latest medical advancements and surgical techniques so they can best serve the Onslow area. Onslow Memorial Hospital, with four ORs and four surgery center ORs located within walking distance, consistently ranks in the top 10% of hospitals nationally for outpatient surgical experience. 

HIGHLIGHTS 

• Signing bonus and salary potential well above the median 

• CME allowance and Malpractice insurance 

• M-F 7a-5p with call 

• Provide general surgery service in the Onslow Surgical Clinic including scheduled and acute care office visits, elective surgeries in the Main Hospital Operating Room and the Ambulatory Surgery Center, and acute surgical service at Onslow Memorial Hospital 

• Surgeries include hernias, colorectal, cholecystectomy, breast, and dermatologic with laparoscopic and robotic options 

REQUIREMENTS 

• Unrestricted MD/DO license in NC or eligible, ACLS, DEA 

• BC/BE by the American Board of Surgery 

• Subspecialty interest in trauma or vascular surgery is welcome 

• One or more years of post-residency experience required 

• Must meet criteria for medical staff credentials at Onslow Memorial Hospital
