This position is responsible in leading the development, implementation and ongoing management of programs to ensure equity across UNC Health. Responsible for overseeing multiple, simultaneous initiatives, and ensure consistency and alignment with Office of Health Equity (OHE) overall strategy and goals. Responsible for team culture and team member development.
Health Equity Programs – Develops and executes system-wide and community-based strategies to further OHE strategic priorities. Manage program activities that span across multiple system entities and departments in support of OHE plan. This could include planning and administration, financial development, analytics development, monitoring and reporting program progress. Creates and maintains strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Ensures the completion of multiple projects to drive strategic health equity goals. Assist in leading overall health equity programs with strong attention to strategy, implementation, and delegation.
Leading People - Leads people toward meeting the organization's vision, mission, and goals. Provides an inclusive workplace that fosters the development of others, facilitates cooperation and teamwork, and supports constructive resolution of conflicts. Professional Experience Requirements:
● Requires three (3) years’ experience in health systems operations, population health or community health, with one (1) year of project/program management experience.
● At least one (1) years of experience working on health equity focused initiatives/programs.
