UNC Health is seeking NetScaler/Tools Sr. Systems Engineer who will build, develop, and maintain NetScaler (ADC) and Infoblox technologies. The Tools Sr. Systems Engineer is responsible for the oversight, security best practices, standards, and build of these solutions. Currently, UNC Health has over 500 NetScaler VIPs (virtual IP addresses) and 30 Infoblox devices.
NetScaler (ADC)
- • Experience and knowledge of NetScaler VIP configuration, build and support.
- • In-depth Experience with NetScaler (load balancing) upgrades (plan, test, build and implement)
- • Experience in a HA - Multi-Site enterprise environment (GSLB)with the ability to support, plan and implement structured upgrades.
- • Experience with NetScaler (load balance) security protocols/best practices, including Web Application Firewall and SSL VPN.
- • Experience with AAA - Authentication Authorization Auditing integration
- • Utilize the Application Delivery Management (ADM) environment for the configuration of monitoring and delegation.
- • Experience with networking concepts including but not limited to DNS, segmentation, protocols/services, and HTTP request/response.
- • Experience with modern security standards like TLS 1.2 and 1.3, along with SSL encryption methods such as SSL Offloading and SSL Bridging
Infoblox
- • Build, support, and scope DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions at scale in an enterprise organization
- • In-depth understanding of DHCP, DNS, IP Addressing and Time Services. Experience supporting the day-to-day configuration and troubleshooting of DNS, DDNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI).
- • Support and lead various DDI projects that include but are not limited to systems consolidation, process improvement, data integration, and security and vulnerability management.
- • Knowledge of all record types - A, AAAA, CNAME, CAA, NS, MX, SOA, PTR, SPF, SRV, TXT, DK/DKIM, etc.
- • Knowledge of TCP/IP based networking (addressing, routing, understanding of OSI model).
- • Experience with packet capture and protocol analysis (TCP, UDP, ICMP, packet dissection).
- • Experience with Infoblox DDI platform.
Highly Preferred:
- • 5+ years of experience with Windows client/server networking including Windows domain and authentication, Active Directory, logon scripts, policies, client and network security, name resolution and time synchronization services.
- • 2+ years of experience with NetScaler (ADC)
- • 2+ years of experience with DNS/DHCP
Asset:
Any of the following certifications: Citrix NetScaler (ADC), Infoblox, Microsoft (MCSE), ITIL certification,

Professional Experience Requirements:

● If an Associate's degree: Eight (8) years of relevant experience.
● If a High School diploma or GED: Eleven (11) years of relevant experience.
