Description

UNC Physicians Network is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our Orthopedic Surgery team at Cary Orthopedics.
The APP will provide care to adult patients treating upper extremities (hand and wrist). The APP will see patients in clinic, first assist in surgeries, and round with post-operative patients in the hospital at UNC Rex Raleigh and Holly Springs. Clinic responsibilities will include seeing new patients for initial visits, pre-op, post-op, and follow up visits for existing patients. Typically scheduled to be 3-4 days in clinic, 1-2 days in surgery per week.
Schedule: Full time, the APP will typically work Monday through Friday, with the expectation of supporting clinic call up to 2-3 days per week and possibly 1 weekend call per month. They may also support after-hours surgical call on an as-needed basis.
Due to the independent nature of this position, we highly prefer an experienced PA or NP with a background in orthopedics and/or hand surgery.
