Summary: 

Helps promote a positive organizational culture and will be primarily responsible for the creation and execution of internal employee engagement and campaigns in partnership with internal communications. Collaborate with various departments and employees throughout the organization to enhance teammate engagement by creating initiatives that promote our organizational values. Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and trends to influence effective culture and employee engagement solutions. Utilize data from engagement surveys and other feedback to provide programs, resources and coaching to leaders and teammates on strategies to build engagement and enhance the teammate experience. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Promote a positive organizational culture, creation and execution of system-wide employee engagement initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with various departments and employees throughout the organization to enhance teammate engagement by creating initiatives that promote our organizational values.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and trends to influence effective culture, employee engagement, employee experience solutions.
  • Utilize data from engagement surveys and other teammate feedback to provide programs, resources and coaching to leaders and teammates on strategies to build engagement and enhance the teammate experience. 
  • Manage employee engagement network: Develop and manage communications with network participants and stakeholders; Develop and implement strategy to obtain feedback from and engagement with group. 
  • Manage internal employee engagement website, content and program development for both teammates and leaders.
  • Create calendar/programming for employee engagement events/initiatives, and partners with other HR Functional leaders on campaigns. 
  • Support well-being initiatives as it pertains to teammate experience and engagement.
  • Partner with Internal Communications on a teammate communication strategy that aligns to and supports the Human resources overall and teammate engagement strategy; provides content to communications for variety of stakeholders ranging from executives, operational and functional leaders. 
  • Create strategies, resources and tools to enhance engagement for our hybrid workforce and teams. 
  • Understanding of and ability to use organizational development and change management strategies and tools to enhance engagement and build culture.

Education Requirements: 

Bachelor’s Degree  

Professional Experience Requirements: 

Requires four (4) years of relevant experience in employee engagement, employee experience, human resources, culture engagement, program management, corporate communications, marketing or related field 

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: 

Organizational development and coaching experience a plus; Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion in accordance with Privacy & Health Care system requirements; Demonstrated success in program management; Excellent presentation skills; Excellent writing skills o Internal corporate communications experience is a plus; Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective learning programs ; Demonstrated ability to work independently or collaborate as part of a team; Proven organizational and problem solving skills; Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, and Excel, MS Teams, virtual meeting and collaboration tools; Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; Event planning and organization skills; Demonstrated project management skill—handling multiple projects and competing deadlines o PMP designation is a plus; Collaborate, consult and interact effectively with teammates and senior leaders to deliver presentations, develop and implement programs
