Summary:
Performs duties of an Administrative Associate but with some authority to step outside confines of established procedures. They are also considered the subject matter authority in the administrative area for the department/clinic.

Administrative Specialist – UNCH Cancer Support Program – Duties and Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Overseeing the front desk operations and primary, customer-facing interactions including greeting, wayfinding, and providing hospitality and respite services
• Providing administrative and daily maintenance support for all PFRC operations, including supply inventory for educational, relaxation, boutique and supplement programs, as well as office and kitchen supplies
• Conducting Joint Commission daily audits and weekly tracers and help maintain safe and clean environment in the PFRC
• Assisting PFRC staff and volunteers in planning, advertising and executing Cancer Awareness outreach events, patient and caregiver support events
• Maintaining donor list, track donations and manage donor correspondence
• Managing body-image boutique, including design, inventory, displays, wig-fittings and boutique appointments for patients • Assisting with scheduling for PFRC and CCSP support services and appointments
• Managing and triaging room reservations within the PFRC (consult and conference rooms) and determining administrative needs and making arrangements for conferences, meetings, seminars or other related activities.
• Extracting and compiling data from written sources, individuals, and/or databases • Managing departmental information and tracking systems

Education Requirements:
● High School diploma or GED
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
● No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
● Two (2) years of clerical or administrative experience
● If Bachelor's degree, no years of clerical or administrative experience
● If Associate's degree, one (1) year of clerical or administrative experience Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
● Customer Focus: makes the customer and their needs their top priority and goes the extra mile to satisfy their customers. Demonstrates the ability to resolve customer problems. Spanish language skills preferred, but not required
