The UNC REX Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Centers of Apex & Raleigh are RNs, LPNs, and Nursing Assistants for a variety of shifts including:
Apex
- RN Staff Nurse - Part-time (weekends or nights)
- Licensed Practical Nurse - Per Diem (variable)
- Licensed Practical Nurse/RN Wound Treatment Nurse - Full time
Raleigh
- RN Supervisor – Full-time (days)*
- RN Staff Nurse - Part-time (nights)
- Licensed Practical Nurse – Full-time (evenings), Part-time (variable)*
- Nursing Assistant – Full-time (days), Part-time (nights or evenings)*
*Select positions qualify for a commitment incentive:
- Full-time RN Staff Nurse positions qualify for a $20,000 incentive with a 4-year commitment.
- Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse positions qualify for a $10,000 incentive with a 3-year commitment.
- Full-time Nursing Assistant positions qualify for a $5,000 incentive with a 3-year commitment.
How do I qualify for this hiring event?
RN Supervisor Requirements:
- Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- NC RN license
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in a skilled nursing setting preferred
- If an Associate's degree, 4 years of experience
RN Staff Nurse Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (BSN) from an accredited School of Nursing preferred.
- RN license in North Carolina
- BLS certification
- Prefer one year of experience in skilled nursing facility
Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- NC LPN license, BCLS
- No experience required
Nursing Assistant Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant Training program and listing with the Nurse Aide Registry with the Department of Facility Services.
- Previous Nursing Assistant experience in clinical specialty desired
