APP Critical Care Goldsboro, NC

 Wayne UNC is seeking a full timeAdvanced Practice Providerto join ourInpatient Critical Care department in Goldsboro, NC.Our APPs reflect the mission, vision, and values of the organization, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and other regulatory and accreditation standards. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Round with the Critical Care Physician/Intensivist and independently 
  • Take patients medical orders 
  • Perform and manage patient consults in the ICU, ED, PACU and overflow 
  • Write progress notes and update the physician as needed 
  • Ventilator management and med management 


Compensation: 

  • Competitive salary 
  • Relocation expense (if applicable)
  • Rich benefits plan w/ 403B employer-sponsored retirement plan 
  • CME –$2500 reimbursement/fiscal year 
  • Malpractice insurance including tail coverage

Schedule: Full time – 15 days a month (7 on and 7 off) 7am-7pm; (occasionally 16 days as some months have 31 days). 

EMR: EPIC 

Requirements: 

  • Graduation from an accredited PA/ NP Program 
  • North Carolina licensed and BLS ACLS certified 
  • One and more years of experience required in critical care as an APP
