UNC Physicians Network is actively hiring dedicated, compassionate, and empathetic Care Partners for our outpatient clinics. We are currently looking for candidates interested in working in the Cary location for the following departments: UNC Pediatrics at Cary, UNC Primary Care at Cary, UNC Family Medicine Kildaire, UNC Health at Glenaire, and UNC Family Medicine at Panther Creek.

Qualifications:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
· Requires graduation from a state-accredited program of practical nurse education including a pharmacology course (or completion of an approved pharmacology course upon graduation) which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities needed for the administration of medications required by the work setting.
· Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in the applicable state (NC or VA).
· Basic Life Support Certification from American Heart Association required.
· No prior experience required.
Medical Assistant, Certified:
· Requires high school diploma or GED.
· Completion of a Medical Assisting program accredited by either the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accreditation Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) is strongly preferred but not required.
· Requires Medical Assistant certification by either the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Health Career Association (CCMA), National Association of Health Professionals (NRCMA), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA).
· Basic Life Support Certification from American Heart Association required.
· Prior medical assistant or medical assistant externship experience preferred.
Physician Practice Nurse (RN):
· Diploma, Associate Degree (ADN) or Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) from an accredited school of Nursing.
· Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. BCLS.
· Previous experience in a physician’s office, urgent care, and emergency department preferred.
· Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical information and technical procedures. Ability to document clinical information. Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from patients, physicians, family members, and other Rex staff. Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
