UNC Medical Center

Includes Chapel Hill main campus, Hillsborough Hospital, and Wakebrook Hospital in Raleigh, NC.

Anesthesia Assistants (AA)

  • Commitment Incentive - $30,000 paid over three (3) years 
  • Tuition Loan Forgiveness - Up-to $60,000 will be offered (amount based on loan) to a CRNA or Anesthesiology Assistant. Payment is spread over a three (3) year period in six (6) installments.

CRNA

  • Commitment Incentive - $30,000 paid over three (3) years 
  • Tuition Loan Forgiveness - Up-to $60,000 will be offered (amount based on loan) to a CRNA or Anesthesiology Assistant. Payment is spread over a three (3) year period in six (6) installments.

Clinical Laboratory

  • Tuition Loan Forgiveness - up to $10,000 paid over four (4) years. 
  • Commitment Incentive - $10,000 paid over two (2) years

Congenital Heart and Operating Room (RN Clinical Nurse II, III, IV and Surgical Techs I and II)

Pediatric Congenital Heart Program Sign-on and Commitment Incentive (Chapel Hill main campus):

  • Experienced Operating Room RNs  - $10,000 sign-on bonus at the time of hire and $25,000 commitment bonus paid over three (3) years.
  • Experienced Surgical Technologists - $5,000 sign-on bonus at the time of hire and $15,000 commitment bonus paid over three (3) years.
  • Relocation Assistance - Up to $10,000 can be offered based on location

Adult Operating Room, Children's Operating Room, and Hillsborough Campus Operating Room Sign-on and Commitment Incentive:

  • Experienced Operating Room RNs - $10,000 sign-on bonus at the time of hire and $20,000 commitment bonus over three (3) years.
  • Experienced Surgical Technologists - $5,000 sign-on bonus at the time of hire and $10,000 commitment bonus over three (3) years.
  • Relocation Assistance - Up to $10,000 can be offered based on location

Inpatient Flex Team - Per Diem

  • Commitment Incentive - $1,500 or $1,200 paid at six (6) months.

Imaging (MRI Techs, Ultrasound Techs, and Radiologic Techs)

  • Commitment Incentive - $15,000 paid over three (3) years

Medical Assistant, Certified 

  • Commitment Incentive - $5,000 paid over three (3) years 

Nursing Support 

  • Commitment Incentive - $5,000 paid over three (3) years

Outpatient Services

  • Commitment Incentive - $10,000 paid over a three (3) year commitment period. (select full time positions)

$5,000 - Payment is spread over a (3) year period. Payment is made after each six (6) month period of work is completed. $1,500 paid at time of hire. (Eligibility Specialist, Financial Assistance Specialist, Medical Coder II - Physician, Financial Counselor)

$6,500 - Payment is spread over a (3) year period. Payment is made after each six (6) month period of work is completed. $2,000 paid at time of hire. (Inpatient Coder Level I and Level II, Senior Coder)

$10,000 - Payment is spread over a (3) year period. Payment is made after each six (6) month period of work is completed. $4,000 paid at time of hire. (Inpatient/Outpatient Clinical Documentation Specialist, Inpatient/Outpatient, Medical Coder Auditor)

  • Commitment incentive - McCreary Oncology Center - $5,000 may be offered.  Payment will be made in six equal installments every six months over a three-year period.

MRI Techs 

  • Commitment incentive - $15,000 may be offered.  $2,000 will be paid within the first thirty days of employment.  The remaining balance will be paid in six equal installments every six months over a three-year period. 

Pharmacy Tech II (Inpatient/Retail)

  • Commitment incentive - $3,000 may be offered.  $1,500 will be paid within the first thirty days of employment.  The remaining balance will be paid after the twelve-month anniversary date. 

 

Radiology Tech

  • Commitment incentive - $15,000 may be offered.  $2,000 will be paid within the first thirty days of employment.  The remaining balance will be paid in three equal installments over a three-year period.
